Job Summary:

Respiratory Therapist needed to provide high-quality respiratory care in a fast-paced clinical environment, delivering therapy per physician orders and established protocols. This role supports patient assessment, treatment delivery, and ongoing documentation to optimize patient outcomes.

Responsibilities:

• Assess patients and determine appropriate respiratory therapy interventions based on clinical status and orders.
• Administer respiratory treatments including ventilator and non-ventilator therapies as indicated.
• Monitor patient response, vital parameters, and therapy effectiveness; escalate concerns to the care team.
• Perform arterial blood gas collection and related respiratory diagnostics as required.
• Maintain accurate, timely documentation in the patient record and complete required charting tasks.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams and support safe, effective care during assigned shifts.

Qualifications:

• Hold an active RRT credential.
• Maintain current BLS certification.
• Possess 4 years of respiratory therapy experience; consider candidates with 2+ years of experience.
• Demonstrate proficiency providing care across adult and/or critical care settings as assigned.
• Provide required state licensure with the ability to obtain any pending license requirements before start.
• Prefer BSN and/or demonstrate strong familiarity with electronic health record charting (Epic preferred).
