Job Summary:

CT Tech supports diagnostic imaging by performing computed tomography scans and ensuring high-quality patient results. This role operates imaging equipment, prepares patients for procedures, and collaborates with radiology teams to deliver timely care.

Responsibilities:

• Perform CT scans according to established protocols and physician orders.
• Position patients accurately and optimize image quality while minimizing motion artifacts.
• Screen patients for safety considerations and monitor during imaging.
• Operate and troubleshoot CT imaging systems, accessories, and workstation software.
• Administer contrast as directed, following safety and policy requirements.
• Maintain accurate documentation in the imaging workflow and ensure proper image archiving.

Qualifications:

• Hold an active CT Technologist credential (e.g., ARRT-CT) or equivalent certification.
• Maintain current state licensure/registry where applicable.
• Demonstrate knowledge of cross-sectional anatomy and CT imaging protocols.
• Show proficiency in patient preparation, positioning, and motion management.
• Apply radiation safety practices (ALARA) and infection control standards consistently.
• Communicate professionally with patients and clinical teams in a fast-paced environment.
