Job Summary:
The CT Technologist is responsible for performing diagnostic computed tomography procedures in a fast-paced Level I Trauma center. They utilize advanced imaging technology to produce high-quality diagnostic images while ensuring patient safety and comfort.

Responsibilities:

• Operate CT imaging equipment to acquire accurate diagnostic images for trauma, outpatient, inpatient, and research patients.
• Enforce radiation safety protocols in compliance with New York State Department of Health regulations.
• Assist in clinical evaluation and provide patient care during imaging procedures.
• Support teaching and continuous learning to stay current with evolving imaging technologies.
• Prepare and maintain equipment, ensuring proper function and safety standards are met.

Qualifications:

• Graduate of an accredited two-year AMA Radiologic Technology program and high school diploma.
• Hold New York State Registration in Diagnostic Radiography or possess a limited permit.
• Certified by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT).
• Hold current BLS for Healthcare Providers or CPR/AED certification.
• Ability to perform CT procedures on diverse patient populations, including trauma and critical care situations.
