Job Summary:
The Travel RN - CVICU role involves providing specialized critical care for postoperative cardiac and vascular surgery patients in a high-acuity ICU setting. The position requires a licensed registered nurse with extensive experience in cardiovascular intensive care and supporting complex hemodynamic monitoring.

Responsibilities:

• Provide expert nursing care to immediate postoperative cardiac and vascular surgery patients.
• Monitor and interpret hemodynamic data, including ECG, arterial lines, and vasoactive drips.
• Manage ventilators, spinal drains, temporary pacemakers, and inotropic/vasoactive medication titrations.
• Follow established protocols to ensure patient safety and optimal recovery.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to develop and adjust patient care plans.
• Document patient data accurately in the electronic medical record.

Qualifications:

• Hold a valid registered nurse license.
• Possess 2-3 years of CVICU experience with recent high-acuity cardiac care.
• Demonstrate Epic healthcare system experience.
• Be proficient in ventilator management, invasive lines, and ECG monitoring.
• Have trauma level one experience preferred.
• Complete competency testing within 24 hours of submission.
