Job Summary:
Seeking a qualified travel Endoscopy Registered Nurse to provide specialized patient care in a fast-paced endoscopy unit. The ideal candidate will bring experience in high-acuity procedures and demonstrate independence and teamwork skills to support complex gastrointestinal procedures.

Responsibilities:

• Administer patient care for endoscopic procedures including EGD, colonoscopy, ERCP, EUS, and EBUS.
• Reprocess and disinfect Olympus endoscopes following infection control protocols.
• Collaborate with physicians and team members to ensure efficient and safe intraoperative and pre/postoperative care.
• Monitor patient status and respond promptly to changes during procedures.
• Maintain accurate documentation within the electronic medical record system.
• Adhere to unit policies and safety guidelines to promote a sterile and safe environment.

Qualifications:

• Current RN license with valid state licensure.
• Minimum of 1-year recent experience in an acute care Endoscopy or GI unit.
• BLS certification required; ACLS preferred.
• Prior experience with Olympus scopes and endoscope reprocessing preferred.
• Strong knowledge of GI procedures including EGD, colonoscopy, ERCP, EUS, and EBUS.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a high-pressure setting.
