Job Summary:

Assist physical therapists in providing patient care through therapeutic interventions, including exercise, massage, gait and balance training, and other modalities. Monitor patient progress and communicate updates to the supervising therapist to ensure optimal treatment outcomes.

Responsibilities:

• Support physical therapists in delivering therapeutic treatments according to prescribed plans.
• Assist patients with exercises, massage, and gait and balance training under supervision.
• Document and record patient progress, responses, and other relevant clinical information.
• Report treatment outcomes and patient feedback to the supervising physical therapist.
• Maintain a clean and organized treatment environment, ensuring safety and compliance with protocols.
• Adhere to all clinical guidelines, policies, and licensing requirements.

Qualifications:

• Hold a valid Texas or compact state licensure as a Physical Therapist Assistant.
• Possess at least 2 years of recent PTA experience.
• Demonstrate proficiency in therapeutic interventions, including exercise and gait training.
• Exhibit strong communication skills to effectively coordinate with therapists and patients.
• Maintain current CPR certification and adhere to licensing regulations.
• Be able to work collaboratively within a healthcare team in a fast-paced environment.
