Job Summary:
Provide skilled nursing care in a long-term acute care (LTAC) setting, ensuring the delivery of high-quality patient care across various hospital units. Adapt to different patient needs and care environments while maintaining compliance with facility policies.

Responsibilities:

• Administer direct patient care, including medication administration and monitoring of vitals.
• Assess patient conditions and modify care plans based on individual needs and responses.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to coordinate ongoing treatment and discharge planning.
• Document patient progress accurately and promptly in medical records.
• Follow strict infection control protocols and safety procedures.
• Maintain ongoing communication with patients and their families regarding care plans and progress.

Qualifications:

• Hold an active Maryland or Compact nursing license.
• Possess at least 1 year of nursing experience in an acute or LTAC setting.
• Demonstrate strong clinical assessment and critical-thinking skills.
• Exhibit excellent communication and patient interaction abilities.
• Be able to recognize and respond promptly to ventilator alarms and respiratory emergencies.
• Ability to work within a fast-paced, high-demand environment.
