Job Summary:
Seeking an experienced LPN to provide advanced nursing care on a hospital float shift, primarily working every other weekend. The role involves rotating through various units including subacute rehab, long-term care, dementia units, pulmonary care, and ventilator support, ensuring quality patient care across diverse clinical settings.

Responsibilities:

• Administer medication and monitor patient responses in a fast-paced hospital environment.
• Float between units, including subacute rehab, long-term care, dementia, pulmonary, and ventilator units, adapting to different patient needs.
• Recognize individual patient routines, preferences, and care requirements to deliver personalized care.
• Ensure compliance with facility policies, including badge-in/out procedures and infection control protocols.
• Maintain accurate documentation of patient assessments, interventions, and progress.
• Respond promptly to alarms and acute clinical situations, especially on ventilator and respiratory units.

Qualifications:

• Valid Maryland or Compact LPN license required at the time of submission.
• Minimum one year of clinical nursing experience; longer for specialized units.
• Certification in ACLS and BLS is mandatory.
• Ability to work night shifts (3x12-hour nights) and adhere to strict attendance policies.
• Demonstrate strong organizational, clinical, and communication skills.
• Capable of floating within multiple hospital units with minimal disruption.
