Job Summary:

Seeking a licensed Physical Therapy Assistant (PTA) to provide skilled therapy services in a fast-paced acute care setting. The ideal candidate will collaborate with the healthcare team to promote patient recovery and functional improvement.

Responsibilities:

• Evaluate patient conditions and develop appropriate treatment plans in accordance with physician prescriptions.
• Administer therapeutic interventions to improve mobility, strength, and overall patient function.
• Monitor patient progress and modify treatment plans as necessary.
• Document patient care accurately and maintain compliance with facility policies and regulatory standards.
• Collaborate with physical therapists, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to ensure coordinated patient care.
• Educate patients and family members on rehabilitation exercises and post-discharge care.

Qualifications:

• Current licensed Physical Therapy Assistant credential.
• Minimum of 2 years’ experience in a clinical or acute care setting.
• Demonstrated knowledge of therapeutic techniques and patient assessment.
• Ability to work effectively in a team environment and communicate clearly.
• Flexibility to work weekends and holidays on a rotating basis.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
