Job Summary:
Provide specialized nursing care to oncology patients in a step-down, surgical, and telemetry setting. Monitor patient conditions, administer treatments, and collaborate with the healthcare team to ensure optimal patient outcomes.

Responsibilities:

• Assess patient health status and identify care needs.
• Administer medications and treatments accurately according to physician orders.
• Monitor vital signs and respond to changes in patient conditions promptly.
• Document patient care activities and maintain detailed records.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary team members to develop and implement care plans.
• Educate patients and families on treatment procedures, medications, and recovery processes.

Qualifications:

• Valid RN license in the relevant state.
• Proven experience in oncology, surgical, or telemetry units preferred.
• Strong assessment and critical thinking skills.
• Ability to work rotating shifts including weekends and holidays.
• Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
• BLS and ACLS certifications required.
