Job Summary:

Seeking a licensed Physical Therapist to provide inpatient rehabilitative care for diverse patient populations, including adults, adolescents, and geriatrics. The therapist will deliver acute care therapy services in a community-based hospital setting, focusing on post-surgical, neurological, and trauma cases.

Responsibilities:

• Administer comprehensive physical therapy evaluations and develop individualized treatment plans.
• Implement therapeutic interventions for conditions such as total joint replacements, spinal conditions, strokes, and traumatic injuries.
• Educate patients and families on exercises, mobility, and injury prevention strategies.
• Document patient progress and maintain accurate records using Cerner EMR.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to coordinate patient care and discharge planning.
• Adhere to facility policies, safety protocols, and maintain certifications as required.

Qualifications:

• Hold a valid NM license in Physical Therapy or ability to pend license at submission.
• Minimum of 1-2 years of acute care inpatient experience.
• BLS certification required prior to start.
• Demonstrate strong skills in body mechanics, post-op rehabilitation, and neurological conditions.
• Willingness to work 12-hour day shifts, including weekends as scheduled.
• Ability to pass EKG test and comply with travel and licensing requirements.
