Job Summary:

The OR RN provides specialized perioperative nursing care in a busy Level I trauma center, supporting all surgical specialties within the operating room. This role requires a highly skilled professional capable of circulating and scrubbing for complex surgeries, ensuring patient safety and optimal outcomes.

Responsibilities:

• Deliver comprehensive preoperative, intraoperative, and postoperative nursing care to surgical patients.
• Collaborate with surgical teams to ensure compliance with safety protocols and sterile techniques.
• Operate and maintain surgical equipment, including robotics and trauma-related tools.
• Document patient care accurately within the EPIC system, adhering to hospital standards.
• Respond swiftly to intraoperative emergencies and assist in crisis management.
• Float within scope across units and facilities as needed to support surgical schedules.

Qualifications:

• Hold a valid South Carolina or Multi-State/Compact RN license.
• Possess at least 2 years of operating room experience, including scrub experience.
• Certified in BLS; Radiation Badge preferred (to be provided by agency).
• Demonstrate proficiency with orthopedic, neuro, transplant, trauma, ENT, GU-GYN, or robotic surgeries.
• Be flexible to work 3x12-hour shifts, with potential for on-call and holiday coverage.
