Job Summary:
Provide specialized nursing care to women during labor and delivery, ensuring the safety and wellbeing of both mother and baby through comprehensive clinical support and monitoring.

Responsibilities:

• Monitor fetal heart rates and maternal vital signs using Fetal Heart Monitoring (FHM) techniques.
• Administer medications and manage labor progression according to established protocols.
• Collaborate with obstetricians and healthcare team members to develop and implement care plans.
• Document patient information accurately in Cerner electronic health record system.
• Respond promptly to any complications or emergencies during labor.
• Educate patients and families on labor processes and postpartum care.

Qualifications:

• Valid RN license required.
• BLS, ACLS, and NRP certifications mandatory.
• Experience with Cerner electronic health records required.
• Strong skills in fetal monitoring and labor management.
• Ability to work night shifts (36 or 48 hours).
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
