Job Summary:


Provides comprehensive nursing care to patients in the Intermediate Medical Care (IMC), Progressive Care Unit (PCU), or step-down units. Ensures patient safety, monitors vital signs, and delivers treatments according to established protocols.

Responsibilities:

• Assess patients’ conditions and develop individualized care plans.
  
• Administer medications and treatments accurately and safely.
  
• Monitor and document patient progress, reporting significant changes to physicians.
  
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to coordinate patient care.
  
• Educate patients and families on treatment plans and post-discharge care.
  
• Adhere to infection control and safety standards in all patient interactions.
  
  

Qualifications:

• Hold an active and valid Registered Nurse (RN) license.
  
• Demonstrate 1+ years of recent experience in IMC, PCU, or step-down units.
  
• Possess strong assessment and critical thinking skills.
  
• Exhibit excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  
• Comply with state and facility-specific nursing standards.
  
• Maintain current BLS and ACLS certifications.
