Job Summary:

The Radiology CT Technologist is responsible for performing high-quality computed tomography imaging procedures to assist in accurate diagnosis and patient care. This role requires adherence to safety protocols and efficient operation of imaging equipment.

Responsibilities:

• Operate CT imaging equipment to capture diagnostic images according to physician orders.
• Prepare patients for imaging procedures, ensuring comfort and proper positioning.
• Maintain safety standards by following protocols for radiation exposure and patient safety.
• Monitor image quality and adjust parameters as necessary to obtain optimal results.
• Collaborate with radiologists and healthcare team members to ensure accurate diagnoses.
• Document procedural details and manage patient records in accordance with hospital policies.

Qualifications:

• Certified CT Technologist with an active Ohio license or willing to obtain one.
• Minimum of 2 years’ experience working in a CT imaging environment.
• BLS certification is required; ARRT CT certification preferred.
• Strong knowledge of radiation safety, patient care, and imaging protocols.
• Able to work 1st shift, rotating weekends, and be available for call shifts once a month.
• Excellent communication skills and ability to work in a fast-paced clinical setting.
