Job Summary:
Provides specialized support in interventional radiology procedures, assisting cardiologists, radiologists, and nurses with technical tasks and patient care. Ensures safe and effective treatment delivery while maintaining compliance with clinical standards and regulations.

Responsibilities:

• Support physicians in performing interventional radiology procedures by following established protocols.
• Prepare and operate imaging equipment, including fluoroscopy, ensuring optimal image quality.
• Monitor patient vital signs and responses throughout procedures to ensure safety.
• Maintain accurate documentation of procedures, patient interactions, and equipment use.
• Assist in training and mentoring students or new staff members as needed.
• Adhere to all safety, privacy, and regulatory guidelines to uphold compliance and patient safety.

Qualifications:

• Hold a valid CA license and necessary certifications such as ACLS, BLS, and Fluoro Permit.
• Possess at least 2 years of relevant clinical experience in interventional radiology or a similar setting.
• Demonstrate proficiency with Epic charting and electronic medical records.
• Exhibit strong patient assessment, communication, and monitoring skills.
• Be available for variable shifts, including weekends and on-call hours, with flexibility for last-minute assignments.
• Complete all required background checks, including clearance for any prior BG hits or DUIs.
