Job Summary:
Provides diagnostic radiographic imaging services to patients utilizing various imaging modalities. Ensures high-quality, safe, and efficient imaging procedures in accordance with clinical protocols and patient needs.

Responsibilities:

• Perform diagnostic radiographic, portable, C-arm, and fluoroscopic procedures accurately and efficiently.
• Review patients’ clinical history and confirm appropriate orders and lab results before imaging.
• Educate patients on procedures and address their concerns to ensure comfort and cooperation.
• Select and operate imaging equipment, adjusting techniques and exposure settings to optimize image quality.
• Position patients properly to obtain optimal images while respecting their ability and comfort.
• Follow radiation safety protocols, including ALARA principles, to minimize exposure to patients and staff.

Qualifications:

• Graduate from an accredited School of Radiologic Technology.
• Hold ARRT Radiography registration.
• Possess a valid WI-DSPS radiographer license for Wisconsin-based work.
• Maintain current AHA Provider level BLS certification.
• Demonstrate proficiency in radiology information systems and PACS.
• Comply with safety, documentation, and quality control procedures.
