Job Details

Job Summary:
Assist physicians by performing diagnostic radiographic procedures to produce quality images for patient diagnosis. Ensure patient safety and comfort while adhering to safety and technical standards.

Responsibilities:

• Conduct diagnostic radiographic, portable, C-arm, and fluoroscopic procedures accurately.
• Review patients’ clinical history and laboratory data to ensure correct imaging orders and optimal results.
• Educate patients on procedures and address any concerns.
• Operate imaging equipment and accessories to capture high-quality images efficiently.
• Position patients appropriately, considering their ability and comfort.
• Apply radiation safety principles to minimize exposure for patients, staff, and self.

Qualifications:

• Graduate of an accredited School of Radiologic Technology.
• ARRT Radiography registration required.
• State radiographer license (WI-DSPS) or equivalent, if applicable.
• Valid BLS certification from an approved AHA provider.
• Demonstrate proficiency in imaging techniques and radiation safety.
• Ability to review clinical history and collaborate with radiologists as needed.
