Job Summary:
Provide clinical and administrative support in a healthcare setting by assisting physicians, managing patient flow, and performing routine medical procedures. Ensure smooth operation of patient services while maintaining compliance with safety and privacy standards.

Responsibilities:

• Perform venipuncture, EKGs, and collect specimens according to protocol.
• Assist physicians with examinations and procedures, including taking vital signs and relaying instructions.
• Manage patient schedules, verify insurance information, and update demographic data.
• Maintain and restock medical supplies, perform room sterilization, and ensure proper medication storage.
• Document patient information, test results, and procedure details accurately in electronic medical records.
• Support administrative duties such as scheduling surgeries, preparing charts, and verifying pre-authorizations.

Qualifications:

• Hold a Medical Assistant certification from an accredited program.
• Possess BLS certification issued by the AHA.
• Demonstrate proficiency in clinical tasks such as phlebotomy and EKGs.
• Exhibit strong interpersonal and communication skills for effective patient interaction.
• Knowledge of HIPAA guidelines and medical terminology required.
• Adaptability to a dynamic healthcare environment.
