Job Summary:

Seeking a highly skilled CVICU Registered Nurse to provide dedicated patient care in a fast-paced hospital setting. The ideal candidate will have experience in cardiovascular intensive care and be committed to delivering exceptional nursing services.

Responsibilities:

• Provide comprehensive nursing care to CVICU patients, monitoring vital signs and managing complex cardiac cases.
• Administer medications, treatments, and interventions as prescribed, ensuring patient safety and compliance.
• Recognize and respond promptly to cardiac emergencies, including rhythm disturbances and hemodynamic instability.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to develop and implement individualized care plans.
• Document patient assessments, interventions, and progress accurately in electronic health records.
• Adhere to hospital policies, procedures, and safety standards, including infection control protocols.

Qualifications:

• Valid Ohio RN license or Compact State license in hand at time of application.
• Minimum of 18 months recent and continuous CVICU experience, travel experience acceptable.
• Certified in BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS with active credentials; pending certifications are not accepted.
• Successful completion of ECG rhythm recognition test and SafeMedicate with acceptable scores.
• Ability to work 3x12 night shifts, with flexibility to work every other holiday.
• Two recent references from managers, supervisors, or directors in the relevant specialty within the past 12 months.
