Job Summary:
Provide specialized intensive care to cardiovascular patients in the CVICU. Manage complex patient needs while adhering to hospital standards and protocols during night shifts. Maintain efficient coordination with healthcare teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes.

Responsibilities:

• Administer advanced nursing care to critically ill cardiovascular patients.
• Monitor and interpret ECG rhythms, responding promptly to arrhythmias or changes.
• Collaborate with physicians and multidisciplinary teams to develop and implement patient care plans.
• Ensure accurate documentation of patient assessments, interventions, and progress.
• Adhere to all safety, infection control, and compliance standards, including certification requirements.
• Assist with orientation and ongoing competency assessments, including modules and skills tests.

Qualifications:

• Hold a permanent Ohio license or valid compact state license in hand.
• Possess a minimum of 18 months of recent CVICU experience, preferably within a single facility.
• Be certified in BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS with active certifications.
• Demonstrate proficiency in ECG rhythm recognition and safeMedicate assessments.
• Be able to work at least every other holiday as required.
• Submit two recent managerial references from the last 12 months.
