Job Summary:
Provide specialized nursing support for interventional radiology and special procedures, assisting medical professionals during diagnostic and interventional imaging sessions. Ensure patient safety and comfort throughout the procedures.

Responsibilities:

• Assist radiologists and healthcare team members during diagnostic and interventional radiology procedures.
• Administer and monitor intravenous contrast agents, promptly addressing any allergic reactions or complications.
• Educate patients and their families on pre- and post-procedure care, explaining risks, benefits, and post-care instructions.
• Maintain accurate, timely documentation of nursing care and procedures in compliance with policies.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to deliver comprehensive patient care before, during, and after procedures.

Qualifications:

• Strong clinical experience of at least 1 year in radiology or related specialties.
• Valid Registered Nurse license and current CPR certification.
• Proficient in administering IV contrast agents and managing potential adverse reactions.
• Excellent communication skills with the ability to educate patients effectively.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a healthcare team in a fast-paced environment.
