Job Summary:
Provides specialized nursing care to critically ill patients in the ICU setting during night shifts. Responsible for monitoring, managing acute conditions, and collaborating with healthcare teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes.

Responsibilities:

• Administer and coordinate patient care following ICU protocols and physician orders.
• Recognize and respond promptly to patient emergencies and changes in condition.
• Document patient assessments, treatments, and responses accurately in electronic health records.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, including physicians, therapists, and support staff.
• Float to various ICUs and EDs as needed to manage patient holds and workload.

Qualifications:

• Hold a valid Ohio license or compact state license in hand at the time of submission.
• Minimum of 18 months of recent, permanent ICU/critical care experience within the last 12 months.
• Active BLS and ACLS certifications; NIHHS preferred.
• References from a manager, ANM, supervisor, or director in the specialty applying for are required.
• Successful completion of ECG rhythm recognition and SafeMedicate assessments during orientation.
