Job Summary:

Seeking a qualified Respiratory Therapist for NICU and PICU coverage, primarily providing advanced respiratory care to neonatal and pediatric patients. The role requires delivering comprehensive support across various ventilators and airway management procedures within a hospital setting.

Responsibilities:

• Perform all aspects of respiratory care, including ventilator management, airway management, and intrahospital transport.
• Administer treatments such as Aerogen, Volara, cough assist, IPV, NAVA, and operate Hamilton and Servo ventilators.
• Assist in airway management, including intubations, and support NICU and PICU clinical activities.
• Maintain certifications and adhere to departmental protocols for neonatal and pediatric care.
• Collaborate with hospitalist or intensivist teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
• Support orientation and ongoing training in department-specific procedures.

Qualifications:

• Hold RRT credentials; CRT acceptable with preferred experience.
• Possess a minimum of 2 years of recent experience in NICU and/or PICU settings.
• Maintain current BLS, ACLS, PALS, and NRP certifications.
• Demonstrate proficiency in ventilator management, airway procedures, and neonatal/pediatric respiratory care.
• Ability to assist with intubations, with independent intubation not required.
• Experience in managing neonatal and pediatric airway devices and ventilators.
