Job Summary:
Provide specialized critical care nursing services to pediatric patients in a Level II Pediatric Intensive Care Unit, ensuring high-quality patient outcomes and adherence to hospital protocols.

Responsibilities:

• Administer direct patient care to critically ill children in the PICU setting.
• Monitor and interpret patient vital signs using general CR and EMR systems.
• Perform procedures including IV starts, blood draws, and TPT placements.
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to develop and implement care plans.
• Educate families about patient care and post-discharge instructions.
• Maintain compliance with unit policies, safety protocols, and industry standards.

Qualifications:

• Hold a valid RN license with a minimum of 1 year of recent PICU acute care experience.
• Possess BLS and PALS certifications; CRRT experience is preferred.
• Demonstrate proficiency in pediatric procedures and monitoring equipment.
• Ability to work well under pressure in a teaching hospital environment.
• Show excellent communication skills and a compassionate approach to patient care.
