Job Summary:

Seeking a highly skilled Registered Nurse for a short-term contract focused on Epic conversion. The role involves providing quality patient care in a fast-paced environment while supporting system transition efforts.

Responsibilities:

• Conduct Epic system conversion activities, ensuring accurate patient data migration and system functionality.
• Deliver direct patient care for medical-surgical cases during the conversion process.
• Adhere to hospital protocols, including BLS, ACLS, NIH, and RTO guidelines.
• Operate advanced medical equipment such as Balloon Pump and Impella with proficiency.
• Document patient information accurately in Cerner and Epic systems.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure seamless workflow during the transition.

Qualifications:

• Hold a valid California RN license.
• Possess a minimum of 6 months of recent Epic experience within the past 12 months.
• Demonstrate proficiency with Cerner and Epic Electronic Medical Record systems.
• Have BLS, ACLS, NIH certifications, and experience with Balloon Pump and Impella devices.
• Be available to start by August 24, 2026, with orientation scheduled in early August.
• Commit to the 8-week contractual assignment with scheduled nights shift.
