Job Summary:

Seeking an experienced Registered Nurse for a short-term contract specializing in Medical Surgical units. The role involves a critical EMR conversion project requiring technical proficiency and swift onboarding.

Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with the healthcare team to ensure seamless transition during EPIC and Cerner system conversions.
• Complete comprehensive training and orientation sessions prior to start date.
• Document patient care activities accurately within Electronic Medical Records systems.
• Adhere to all clinical protocols and safety standards throughout the project duration.
• Communicate effectively with staff and management regarding system updates and patient care.
• Maintain flexibility to meet the project’s timeline and requirements.

Qualifications:

• Hold a valid California RN license.
• Demonstrate a minimum of 6 months of recent EPIC experience within the past 12 months.
• Possess prior Cerner EMR experience.
• Proficient in navigating and utilizing both Epic and Cerner platforms.
• Recent clinical experience in Medical Surgical units preferred.
• Ability to start by August 24, 2026, with orientation on August 3rd or 17th.
