Job Description
Job Summary:
Seeking an experienced Speech Language Pathologist for a travel assignment specializing in critical care and hospital environments. The candidate will provide advanced speech therapy services to patients, including those requiring critical care intervention, on rotating weekends.
Responsibilities:
- Evaluate and diagnose speech, language, and swallowing disorders in hospital patients.
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans tailored to critically ill patients.
- Collaborate with healthcare teams to coordinate patient care and discharge planning.
- Document patient progress and adjust therapy interventions accordingly.
- Provide evidence-based therapy services during scheduled shifts, including weekends.
- Maintain compliance with healthcare regulations and facility policies.
Qualifications:
- Hold a valid Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) license.
- Have at least 2 years of hospital and critical care experience.
- Possess former HCA experience preferred.
- Demonstrate strong clinical assessment and treatment skills in a hospital setting.
- Be capable of working rotating weekend shifts.
- Exhibit excellent communication and collaboration abilities.
