Job Summary:
The Registered Nurse provides expert patient care in a Telemetry unit, utilizing nursing best practices to monitor and respond to cardiac and other vital signs. This role involves direct patient care, coordination with physicians, and guiding nursing staff and patient education.

Responsibilities:

• Evaluate patients’ clinical conditions, including cardiac monitoring and diagnostic results.
• Administer medication and interventions within the scope of practice.
• Educate patients and families about their health status and care plans.
• Collaborate with healthcare team members to develop and implement individualized care plans.
• Respond swiftly to changes in patient conditions, ensuring safe and effective treatment.
• Document patient observations, assessments, and interventions accurately.

Qualifications:

• Hold a current and valid state RN license.
• Maintain BLS certification; ACLS certification required or within program scope.
• Possess ventilator management experience preferred.
• Provide proof of COVID vaccination/boosters preferred.
• Demonstrate excellent assessment and communication skills.
• Have prior experience working in a telemetry setting.
