Job Summary:

The Registered Nurse in the Telemetry unit provides specialized nursing care to patients requiring cardiac monitoring and assessment. This role involves managing complex patient conditions while ensuring safe and effective care delivery.

Responsibilities:

• Assess patient status continuously to identify changes in clinical condition.
• Develop and implement individualized nursing care plans based on patient assessments.
• Administer medications, treatments, and interventions according to physician orders and standards of practice.
• Monitor cardiac activity through telemetry and interpret diagnostic results to inform care.
• Educate patients and families on health status, treatments, and post-discharge care.
• Collaborate with physicians and healthcare team members to coordinate care and respond swiftly to clinical changes.

Qualifications:

• Hold a current and valid state RN license.
• Possess active BLS certification; ACLS certification preferred.
• Demonstrate ventilator management experience (preferred).
• Be vaccinated against COVID-19, including boosters, or willing to comply.
• Exhibit strong assessment, communication, and critical thinking skills.
• Prior experience in telemetry or cardiac care is preferred.
