Job Summary:

Seeking experienced Registered Nurses specialized in Cardiovascular Operating Room (CVOR) procedures to join a Level II Trauma Center team. These travel positions require clinical expertise in cardiovascular surgeries and flexibility to float within the unit.

Responsibilities:

• Provide high-quality perioperative care for CVOR patients undergoing procedures such as CABG, valve replacements, thoracic, and vascular surgeries.
• Collaborate with surgical teams and assist with scrub duties as needed.
• Monitor patient status closely before, during, and after procedures, ensuring safety and optimal outcomes.
• Adhere to unit policies, safety protocols, and maintain equipment readiness.
• Document patient care accurately in the EMR system (Meditech).
• Facilitate communication among team members and ensure smooth perioperative workflow.

Qualifications:

• Hold a valid Florida RN license.
• Possess a minimum of 5 years of CVOR experience.
• Demonstrate proficiency in main OR procedures and ability to float to other units.
• Be willing to work the specified variable schedule, including holidays and every other weekend.
• Experience with Meditech EMR is preferred.
• Excellent team player with adaptable, flexible personality.
