Job Summary:
Seeking an experienced CVOR Registered Nurse for a 13-week travel assignment at a top-performing hospital. The role involves providing specialized pre, intra, and post-operative care in a cardiovascular surgery unit.

Responsibilities:

• Perform comprehensive assessment, planning, and evaluation of patient care in the CVOR setting.
• Scrub in all surgical procedures including joint replacement, ENT, Ortho, Spine, Urology, Vascular, Podiatry, Thoracic, and Plastic Surgery.
• Operate and monitor advanced surgical equipment such as Impella, ECMO, Bypass pump, and Laser lead extraction systems.
• Document patient care accurately using Meditech and maintain compliance with hospital protocols.
• Collaborate with surgical teams and assist with intraoperative procedures across multiple specialties.
• Assume on-call responsibilities as scheduled to support patient needs.

Qualifications:

• Possess current ACLS and BLS certifications.
• Have a minimum of 2 years recent experience in an acute OR or CVOR setting.
• Be proficient in scrubbing and capable of working across all service lines excluding robotics.
• Demonstrate excellent critical thinking, multitasking, and bedside manners.
• Able to work rotating weekends if required.
• Hold valid RN license in the state of practice.
