Job Summary:
Seeking a experienced Registered Nurse to provide specialized care in the ICU, with a focus on cardiothoracic units. The role involves managing critically ill patients, utilizing advanced equipment, and working within a collaborative healthcare team.

Responsibilities:

• Deliver direct patient care for ICU patients, including telemetry, vent management, and specialty device care.
• Monitor and operate advanced equipment such as CRRT, ECMO, Impella, and IABP, ensuring device certification is maintained.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to develop and implement patient treatment plans.
• Document patient assessments and interventions accurately within Cerner electronic charting system.
• Respond promptly to patient emergencies, including ventilator issues and hemodynamic instability.
• Float to other ICUs, PCU, ED, or PACU as needed to meet facility staffing requirements.

Qualifications:

• Hold a valid RN license, with pending licensure accepted.
• Possess 1-2 years of ICU experience, including management of complex critical care equipment.
• Maintain current ACLS and BLS certifications.
• Demonstrate proficiency in telemetry, vent management, and specialty equipment.
• Able to pass EKG tests (pass/fail, with two attempts).
• Be willing to work 12-hour night shifts (19:00–07:30).
