Job Summary:
Provide specialized nursing care to patients in the ICU setting, ensuring optimal outcomes through advanced clinical skills and compassionate patient management.

Responsibilities:

• Administer and monitor complex treatments including telemetry, vents, specialty devices (CRRT, ECMO, Impella, IABP).
• Assess patient conditions continuously, recognizing and responding to emergencies promptly.
• Operate and troubleshoot advanced ICU equipment, ensuring proper function and safety.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement patient care plans.
• Document patient information accurately in Cerner charting system.
• Float within scope to other ICU units, PCU floors, ED, PACU as needed.

Qualifications:

• Valid ICU RN licensure with pending license accepted.
• Minimum of 1-2 years ICU experience in a Level I trauma or acute care facility.
• Certifications in ACLS and BLS required; RQI certifications preferred.
• Ability to work night shifts (4x12 hours) and accommodate flexible scheduling.
• Demonstrated competency with telemetry, ventilators, arterial lines, central lines, and specialty equipment.
• Must pass EKG testing with a maximum of two attempts.
