Job Summary:
Provides specialized nursing care to patients undergoing cardiac catheterization and electrophysiology procedures in a high-acuity setting. Ensures patient safety and comfort while delivering advanced cardiac nursing interventions throughout the procedural process.

Responsibilities:

• Administer pre- and post-procedure nursing care for patients undergoing cardiac cath lab procedures.
• Monitor patient vitals, observe for complications, and respond promptly to any changes.
• Assist physicians with diagnostic and interventional cardiac procedures.
• Maintain sterile techniques and ensure adherence to safety protocols during procedures.
• Document patient assessments, interventions, and outcomes accurately.
• Educate patients and families about procedures, recovery, and post-care instructions.

Qualifications:

• Valid Florida Registered Nurse (RN) license or equivalent.
• Minimum of 2 years of experience in a cardiac cath lab or electrophysiology setting.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certifications.
• Demonstrated knowledge of cardiac monitoring, invasive procedures, and patient care standards.
• Strong critical thinking, communication, and teamwork skills.
