Job Summary:
Seeking a skilled Respiratory Therapist for a travel assignment at a busy acute care hospital. The ideal candidate will have experience managing ventilators and airway equipment in a fast-paced environment to support patient respiratory needs.

Responsibilities:

• Administer respiratory treatments and therapies to patients based on physician orders.
• Manage ventilators, airway devices, and related equipment to ensure optimal patient care.
• Monitor patient responses and adjust therapies accordingly, documenting findings in Meditech EMR.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary team members to develop and implement respiratory care plans.
• Respond promptly to emergency airway situations and assist with procedures as needed.
• Maintain compliance with hospital policies and safety protocols.

Qualifications:

• Possess a current, valid CRT or NBRC credential.
• Minimum of 6 months recent acute care hospital experience as an RRT.
• Hold BLS, ACLS, NRP, and PALS certifications.
• Demonstrate experience with ventilator management and airway procedures.
• Prior experience with Meditech EMR preferred.
• PEDS/NICU/PICU experience is a plus.
