Job Summary:
Provides specialized nursing care to critically ill patients in the IMC, PCU, or Stepdown unit. Responsible for delivering comprehensive patient care through assessment, planning, and evaluation within a fast-paced clinical environment.

Responsibilities:

• Assess patient conditions and develop individualized care plans based on medical history, diagnostic results, and current status.
• Administer medications and treatments accurately, ensuring adherence to medical orders and safety protocols.
• Reconcile medical records to maintain compliance with regulatory standards and organizational policies.
• Monitor and evaluate patient responses to interventions, making adjustments as needed to meet care goals.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to coordinate effective patient care and communication.
• Perform additional duties as assigned to support unit operations and patient outcomes.

Qualifications:

• Hold an Associate's Degree in Nursing; Bachelor's Degree preferred.
• Possess a valid Registered Nurse license in North Carolina or a Compact state.
• Have at least 1 year of nursing experience, with preferred experience in a clinical specialty as defined by ANCC or national nursing organizations.
• Demonstrate proficiency in Epic electronic medical record systems.
• Be certified in BLS (American Red Cross or AHA Healthcare Provider).
• Maintain compliance with travel and background screening requirements.
