Job Summary:
Provide specialized nursing education and support to healthcare staff in the PCU/HWS/IMC setting, focusing on critical care competencies, procedural skills, and regulatory readiness. Facilitate real-time coaching, unit rounding, and competency validation to ensure high-quality patient care and staff development.

Responsibilities:

• Deliver targeted clinical education to nursing staff, travelers, and interdisciplinary teams.
• Support unit-based rounding, reinforcement, and just-in-time coaching to promote skill retention.
• Validate staff understanding and competencies through assessments and observations.
• Document all education activities accurately and escalate barriers or concerns to leadership.
• Assist with re-education efforts based on audit findings or practice assessments.
• Collaborate with education leaders and clinical staff to align training with department goals.

Qualifications:

• Hold a valid RN license with at least 2+ years of acute or critical care experience.
• Demonstrate strong communication, coaching, and educational skills.
• Prior experience in nursing education, clinical teaching, or competency validation preferred.
• Familiar with high-risk patient care, safety initiatives, regulatory standards, or survey readiness.
• Comfortable using educational tracking tools, dashboards, LMS platforms, or competency checklists.
