Job Summary:
Experienced Medical Surgical/Tele RN needed for a large hospital facility to provide patient care across Med/Surg and Tele units. The role involves rotating shifts, with potential to float to various units including ED, to meet operational needs.

Responsibilities:

• Provide direct patient care for adult populations in Med/Surg and Tele units.
• Float to units J1-2, J33, and ED as needed, ensuring continuity of care.
• Complete assessments, administer medications, and monitor patient vitals and response to treatments.
• Adhere to hospital policies, safety protocols, and maintain accurate documentation.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement patient care plans.
• Maintain active certifications, including BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS, and complete required assessments during orientation.

Qualifications:

• Hold a minimum of 18 months of permanent experience in Med/Surg/Tele nursing prior to travel.
• Possess at least 18 months recent experience in Med/Surg/Tele, with travel experience acceptable.
• Valid Ohio or compact state RN license in hand at the time of submission.
• Active and current BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS certifications.
• Demonstrate proficiency in ECG rhythm recognition and SafeMedicate assessments with passing scores.
• Ability to work night and day shifts, including every other holiday.
