Job Summary:

The Certified Nurse Assistant (CNA) in a long-term care/skilled nursing facility provides essential daily support to residents, ensuring their safety, comfort, and well-being through compassionate care and adherence to policies and procedures.

Responsibilities:

• Assist residents with activities of daily living such as toileting, transferring, bathing, and grooming.
• Respond promptly to call lights and resident needs.
• Obtain and record vital signs, weights, and other relevant health information.
• Report any changes in resident condition or behavior to the nursing staff.
• Monitor for signs of abuse, neglect, or misappropriation and report incidents accordingly.
• Support the care team with additional duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

• Hold and maintain a valid Certified Nursing Assistant certification.
• Demonstrate exceptional accuracy and attention to detail.
• Possess at least 1 year of related healthcare experience preferred.
• Maintain current BLS certification.
• Exhibit strong interpersonal skills and compassion for elderly or long-term care residents.
