Job Description
Job Summary:
The Certified Nurse Assistant (CNA) provides essential hands-on care to residents in a skilled nursing facility, ensuring their safety, comfort, and well-being. This role supports nursing staff by assisting residents with daily activities and monitoring their condition.
Responsibilities:
- Assist residents with activities of daily living such as toileting, transferring, bathing, and grooming.
- Answer call lights promptly to tend to resident needs.
- Report any changes in resident condition to the nursing staff.
- Obtain vital signs, weights, and other relevant health information.
- Document resident care and report any allegations of abuse or neglect.
- Follow facility policies and procedures to maintain a safe environment.
Qualifications:
- Hold and maintain a valid Certified Nursing Assistant certification.
- Demonstrate at least 1 year of related experience preferred.
- Possess exceptional attention to detail and accuracy.
- Maintain current BLS certification.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.
