Job Summary:
The Labor and Delivery RN provides compassionate and expert nursing care to expectant mothers during childbirth. They monitor fetal and maternal health, manage labor progression, and ensure patient safety and comfort throughout the delivery process.

Responsibilities:

• Assess and monitor maternal and fetal conditions during labor and delivery.
• Administer medications and interventions as prescribed by clinicians.
• Collaborate with healthcare teams to develop and implement care plans.
• Educate patients and families on childbirth process and postpartum care.
• Document patient progress and clinical interventions accurately.
• Respond promptly to patient needs and emergent situations during labor.

Qualifications:

• Valid RN license with current state licensure.
• Proven experience in Labor and Delivery nursing preferred.
• Ability to manage multiple patients in a high-pressure environment.
• Strong assessment and clinical skills in maternal-fetal health.
• Excellent communication and patient education skills.
• BLS and NRP certifications required.
