Job Summary:

Seeking a qualified Respiratory Therapist to provide specialized respiratory care in a hospital setting. The ideal candidate will have experience working in pediatric intensive care units and possess relevant certifications.

Responsibilities:

• Administer respiratory therapies and treatments to neonatal, pediatric, and adult patients.
• Monitor patient respiratory status and adjust treatment plans accordingly.
• Operate and maintain ventilators and other respiratory equipment.
• Collaborate with healthcare teams to develop and implement patient care plans.
• Document patient care activities accurately in electronic medical records.
• Ensure compliance with safety and infection control protocols.

Qualifications:

• Valid Respiratory Therapist license in the state of practice.
• Minimum of level 4 NICU experience; cardiac PICU experience preferred.
• Current RRT certification, BLS, and NRP credentials.
• Ability to work night shifts, including every other weekend and holiday rotation.
• Strong clinical assessment and critical thinking skills.
• Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
