Job Summary:
Provide specialized nursing care to pediatric oncology and blood marrow transplant patients in a fast-paced hospital setting. Ensure patient safety, administer medications, and coordinate with interdisciplinary teams to deliver comprehensive care.

Responsibilities:

• Administer medications, treatments, and therapies following physician orders and hospital protocols.
• Monitor patient conditions closely, recognizing and responding to changes promptly.
• Collaborate with healthcare team members including physicians, therapists, and support staff.
• Document patient information accurately in the electronic medical record (Epic preferred).
• Ensure compliance with nicotine-free campus policies and complete required testing and documentation within specified deadlines.
• Float to other specialized units such as GenPeds, PICU, NICU, and sister campuses as needed.

Qualifications:

• Valid RN license in Georgia with license verification completed prior to start.
• BLS and PALS certification (AHA only) required.
• Minimum of one year of pediatric hematology/oncology or BMT experience preferred.
• Ability to complete required compliance documentation within deadlines.
• First-time travelers accepted if they demonstrate the necessary skills through their resume.
