Job Summary:

Assist licensed physical therapists in delivering patient care and implementing treatment plans to promote mobility and recovery. Provide quality support to ensure optimal patient outcomes in a clinical setting.

Responsibilities:

• Support physical therapists in assessing patient needs and developing rehabilitation plans
• Assist patients with therapeutic exercises and activities
• Prepare treatment areas and maintain equipment hygiene and safety standards
• Document patient progress and report any concerns to the supervising therapist
• Educate patients and families about prescribed exercises and home care routines
• Obtain and record vital signs and assist during therapeutic procedures

Qualifications:

• Current Certified Physical Therapy Assistant (CPTA) credential
• Proven experience supporting physical therapy treatments in a healthcare setting
• Strong knowledge of anatomy, physiology, and therapeutic techniques
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to follow detailed treatment plans and adapt to patient needs
• Commitment to patient safety and privacy standards
