Job Summary:

Seeking a qualified Dietitian to support hospital nutrition services during a 59-day assignment. The role involves providing nutritional care, ensuring food safety, and collaborating with healthcare teams to meet patient needs.

Responsibilities:

• Assess patients’ nutritional status and develop tailored care plans.
• Administer and oversee food safety protocols in compliance with industry standards.
• Document patient information accurately using electronic health record systems.
• Communicate effectively with patients and healthcare staff regarding nutritional needs.
• Maintain certification and comply with licensing and credentialing requirements.
• Collaborate with nutrition and medical teams to optimize patient outcomes.

Qualifications:

• Hold a high school diploma or GED; associate degree required.
• Enrolled in or have completed a nutrition or related field program preferred.
• Possess valid Food Safety Certification at the time of booking.
• Have at least 2 years of hospital nutrition-related experience or be enrolled in an approved educational program.
• Demonstrate strong verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills.
• Be proficient with computers, including Microsoft Office and electronic feeding management systems.
