Job Summary:

Seeking an experienced Registered Nurse for the IMC/PCU/Stepdown unit at a Level II Trauma Center. The RN will provide compassionate, high-quality care to patients requiring continuous monitoring and specialized interventions.

Responsibilities:

• Assess patient conditions and develop individualized care plans.
• Administer medications and treatments per physician orders.
• Monitor vital signs and utilize telemetry equipment to track patient status.
• Perform procedures including IV starts, wound care, and maintenance of surgical drains and chest tubes.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to coordinate patient care.
• Document patient information accurately in the Meditech system.

Qualifications:

• Valid RN license in the state of Tennessee.
• Current BLS certification required.
• Minimum of 2 years recent experience in Med/Surg or Stepdown units.
• Ability to prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong clinical skills including IV placement and wound management.
• Demonstrated compassionate patient care and communication skills.
