Job Summary:
Provide specialized nursing care to burn ICU and PCU patients in a fast-paced hospital setting, ensuring optimal patient outcomes through clinical expertise and compassionate support. Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to deliver high-quality care aligned with hospital protocols.

Responsibilities:

• Administer medications, treatments, and interventions per physician orders and unit protocols.
• Monitor patient status using ventilators, specialty beds, and CRRT equipment, documenting findings accurately in Meditech.
• Collaborate with charge RNs, PCTs, and other healthcare providers to maintain appropriate patient ratios and safety standards.
• Follow infection control policies and maintain compliance with certifications such as BLS and ACLS.
• Respond promptly to patient needs and escalate concerns as necessary to ensure continuous optimal care.
• Adhere to hospital-specific policies, dress code, and schedule requirements, including rotating weekends and floating policies.

Qualifications:

• Active RN license with at least 2 years of recent experience in ICU, PCU, or stepdown units.
• Strong technical proficiency with ventilators, specialty beds, and CRRT systems.
• Certifications in BLS and ACLS are mandatory.
• Proven ability to work effectively within a team in high-pressure environments.
• Knowledge of Meditech documentation system and critical care standards.
• Flexibility to work 13-week travel assignments with varied schedules.
