Job Details

Job Summary:
Provides specialized nursing care to patients in the Progressive Care Unit (PCU) and Stepdown areas. Assesses patient conditions, implements care plans, and collaborates with the healthcare team to ensure optimal patient outcomes.

Responsibilities:

• Administer medications and treatments accurately following physician orders.
• Monitor and document patient vital signs, symptoms, and responses to interventions.
• Educate patients and their families about health conditions and post-discharge care.
• Collaborate with physicians, therapists, and other nurses to coordinate patient care.
• Maintain compliance with hospital policies, safety protocols, and industry standards.

Qualifications:

• Holds an active Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of Tennessee.
• Possesses at least 2 years of recent experience in PCU or Stepdown units.
• Demonstrates strong assessment, critical thinking, and communication skills.
• Capable of working effectively in a fast-paced healthcare environment.
• Meets all facility-specific immunization, credentialing, and certification requirements.
