Job Summary:
Provide comprehensive nursing care to patients on a busy Med Surg/Tele floor. Ensure patient safety and comfort while adhering to unit protocols and industry standards.

Responsibilities:

• Deliver direct patient care in a fast-paced Medical Surgical and Telemetry environment.
• Monitor vital signs, administer medications, and assess patient conditions regularly.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop and update care plans.
• Float to other MS/Tele units or ICU (low acuity) as needed, maintaining flexibility and professionalism.
• Complete documentation accurately within the Epic electronic health record system.
• Ensure compliance with hospital policies, certifications, and safety standards.

Qualifications:

• Hold an active Tennessee or compact state license.
• Possess at least 1 year of hospital nursing experience, with travel experience preferred.
• Have recent Epic EMR experience within the last 12 months and pass the Epic competency exam.
• Maintain current AHA BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS certifications.
• Exhibit strong clinical assessment skills and the ability to work independently under pressure.
• Provide two supervisory references and disclose any background hits during submission.
